Whilst many others choose to donate the buy back phone scheme money back into our charity funds. The choice is yours but as always, charity raising is hard at the best of times so this is a great chance to donate back to charity in a way that does not effect your pocket directly. 5. We then categorise the phones into groups. Working/non working, salvageable or not. Once we have a box of phones that are tested working and factory reset, they are sent to be used in less fortunate developing countries and they are very grateful for projects like this. Non salvageable phones are recycled. 6. The transaction is complete and the benefit is felt as the phone is disposed of responsibly and recycled without the use of landfill sites.
