Nokia 6111 ribbon cable
The Nokia 6111 ribbon cable is
also known as a flex cable and it
connects the top half and bottom
half of the phone together. Often
a blank screen appears as the old
ribbon cable gets over used by
using the phones slide mechanism.
If the phone is dropped
especially whilst the phone has
its slide open, the ribbon cable
often tears and would need
replacing. You may find jumbled
text and upside down characters
or the screen going blank, these

close the slide, do it gently and
not too fast, When you open the

hard as this causes strain and
tension on the ribbon cable that
weakens the ribbon.
