We test all phones before being sent out to you and if parts need replacing or the software needs upgrading, we have our expert mobile phone specialist repair team to sort out any faults before the phone leaves us. As it stands, Phat Phones offer a 3 month warranty period for any used phone as we feel that if a fault was to arise, it would be within this time scale. Whilst other mobile phone buy back companies or schemes may sound good, in actual fact many of them scrap the phones down and sell the parts back to China where they are used often on the Black Market and often they do not get to help a charity. By re using mobile phones where possible, we are prolonging the life of a perfectly good working phone and getting it back out there in use. By keeping a phone in the system it prevents it from becoming added to the electrical scrap heap which is devastating planet earth. Anything that is not possible to salvage can get melted down as scrap metal or it is disposed of in the correct manor in which electrical items should be dealt with.
